First 4x5 photo experience. . .

Well, its probably not the best time to get acquainted with your camera at a wedding. . . but thats what I did.

The bellows have a light leak, the lens is . . . soft and has strange color chroma when wide open. I didn't have a light meter, so I relied on using a p&S camera and matching the Exposure value to my needs.

Missed some focus (not sure if the camera stays where i put it) . . . in fact as you see from the photo i've cropped out the tops of their heads . . . This occurred when putting in my film holder. Either way it worked, and I like the control of the format, and can't wait to get out and shoot some more.

I have since purchased a meter, more holders and 400tx film.

working on looking at older photos of mine in another way, as well as staying sharp in photoshop.

cell phone portraits

well, i have sold all of my photo gear and have decided to think very hard about what i want from my photography, and then buy gear with that project in mind. . . it was a difficult move but I'm hoping it will prove worth it!

In the mean time still in love with simple portraits, nothing fancy . . . and of course since my gear is gone I'm using my LG cell phone, a surefire flashlight and a reflector!
